Rawlings Official 2008 All-Star baseball identical to the baseball used in
the Mid-Summer Classic played on Tuesday, July 15th, 2008 at Yankee Stadium
in The Bronx, New York, home of the New York Yankees of the American League.
The 2008 All-Star Game was the fourth All-Star Game held at Yankee Stadium
since its 1923 opening, joining 1939, 1960 and 1977. It was the eighth time
that New York City has hosted the event.
2008 will be the final season for the current Yankee Stadium. The Yankees will move into "New Yankee Stadium" in the 2009 season.
The ball features two color navy blue and gray stitching to match the logo
colors of the host team, New York Yankees.
